FINAL BOARDING CALL FOR FLIGHT…
If you have ever sat in a boarding area waiting for your flight to board, you have heard the above words.
You are sitting in that boarding area for a number of reasons you are going somewhere.
Take a moment and think of all the choices you had to make before you arrived at that Gate and took your seat in the boarding area.
You had to decide where you were going, when you were going, why you were going and how you were going to get there.
In his book THE GOD YOU MAY NOT KNOW, author David Jeremiah makes a statement on page 89 that this writer found to be palpably sobering:
Every human being (who has ever lived) is going to live forever “somewhere“
OH! Really? Yes.
If you believe in the Creator-God of the Bible, you can know and believe that there is one part of you that will live forever.
And how is that?
When God created Man, He actually created two beings. He created a physical being and a spiritual being. In Genesis Chapter 2, verse 7, We have these words:
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the earth…. (the physical or fleshly birth)
” and He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and Man became a living spirit or soul. (the spiritual birth)
The physical being He created will in fact die a physical death. However, the spiritual being He created will live forever. Which begs the question, just where will that be?
Back to the boarding area if you believed that wherever you were going, you were going to be there forever, how would that affect your choices and your answers to the where, who, what, why, and how questions?
But even more sobering, as you plan your journey, if you knew there were only two possible destinations, how would that affect your choices and your answers to the where, who, what, why, and how questions?

Whether we know it and whether we believe it…..or not, we all, every one of us is going to live forever..someplace.
And, there are only two possible destinations.
