WHAT MATTERS MOST?

If you have ever flown commercially, you will recall how the flight stewards demonstrate what to do in the case of an emergency.

And, if you are traveling with a child, they instruct you to be sure and put the oxygen on yourself, before attempting to put it on the child. There is the assumption that you care for the child and are willing to do something for the child that the child cannot do for himself or herself.

This is a wonderful metaphor when it comes to understanding our relationship with God and His relationship with us.

In your thoughts about GOD, do you see yourself as the Parent or the child?

If you know Him and believe in Him, you know that He loves you and only wants the best for you.

Just like the adult and the child in the airplane, He cares for you and me and wants us to have what we need to live the life He created us to live.

Because you have set your love upon Me, I will deliver you; I will set you on high, because you know My name. When you call upon Me, I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you and honor you. And with a long life I will satisfy you and show you My salvation. (Psalm 91:14-16)

How sad there those who are unwilling to allow HIM to help them with their mask.

OH! REALLY? Yes…
