AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE
Our language abounds with words that tend to ignite the imagination. Sometimes it is a phrase like:
The whole night sky was filled with stars.
Sometimes it is just one word like:
Touchdown!
There is another word that we see so frequently in print and hear so often that it has lost much of the significance it seems God intended it to have in our lives.
It is a word that appears in one form or another 480 times in all of the Bible and 189 times in the New Testament.
The word is: LIFE.
Have you ever tried to put together a jigsaw puzzle without a picture of what it is supposed to look like when it is finished? It’s hard to do, isn’t it?
I’m often asked why it is so important to read the Bible?
At best, and even for those who are smart and seem to have all the life-skills naturally, LIFE is still a puzzle for most of us.
The Bible not only helps us put it together, but gives us a picture of what it is supposed to look like when we have completed it.
It is there that we discover LIFE, as it was meant to be.
OH! REALLY? Yes…
