DON’T, WON’T, CAN’T…

Do you love self-evident truths? Here is one that has become one of my favorites.

“There really is no difference between someone who can’t read and someone who won’t read, the outcome is the same.”

When it comes to faith, there really is no difference between someone who doesn’t believe, who won’t believe, or who can’t believe, the outcome is the same.

I really don’t believe all that stuff about a flood that covered all the earth.

It Doesn’t matter, the outcome is the same for you.

Sorry, but I can’t believe in the virgin birth of Christ. That is scientifically impossible.

It Doesn’t matter, the outcome is the same for you.

I’m to believe he was crucified on a cross, buried and then rose from the dead? Nah, I can’t believe that.

It Doesn’t matter, the outcome is the same for you.

Hell? You mean a place that burns with fire and brimstone…where if I don’t believe that Jesus was the incarnate Son of God, I will be sentenced to live for eternity? Sorry. I can’t believe that. That’s too much for me.

It doesn’t matter, the outcome will be the same for you.

OH! REALLY? Hmm…
