THE ULTIMATE RELATIONSHIP

Have you ever had a moment where you thought, “is this all there is?”

Or, perhaps you said to yourself, “something is missing.”

No matter what a person has accomplished, how much money they have made, how far up the ladder of life accomplishments they have climbed, everyone has a moment when they have these thoughts.

And why is that?

We can’t help it. We were created by a God who before the foundation of the earth had great plans for us.

God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4)

God formed man from the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living spirit. (Genesis 2:7)

….and He formed His spirit in man. (Zechariah 12:1)

Consequently, inert in every living human being there is a God given capacity for that person to fulfill his or her destiny. Sadly, many will live and die and not know what that destiny is.

And what is it?

It is the ultimate relationship.

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

It is a dynamic transformational relationship whereby we are no longer conformed to this world but we are transformed by a force outside of ourselves to the end that we discover that our lives are so filled with God and what He has for us, that we never wonder….”is this all there is?”

And the secret? It is something God does when we genuinely and sincerely seek Him.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

OH! REALLY? YES.
