AS OUR HEARTS TELL US

Is your heart talking to you? What is it saying? Are you listening? Do you like what you are hearing?

We are told that after God created man’s body, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)

The breath God breathed into this man creature, was HIS breath, it was a part of God Himself, which every human being possesses.

And just as every human possesses the DNA of his or her parent(s), so we ,as human beings, possess a God given Divine NAture. It is our conscience.

For some, that conscience is a blessing. For others it is a curse. It all hangs on the choices we make.

When we are obedient, that is, when we live as we were created to live, it is a blessing.

When choose not to live as we were created to live, when we are rebellious, and disobedient, it is a curse. (See Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

And blast it all, guess what? Whether we like it or not, our hearts tell us when we are and when we are not.

The question is, when our hearts speak to us, are we listening?
